As a member of a large, blended family, people tend to focus on your prominent trait— which is ultimately what you become known for. What makes you different from your siblings, cousins, extended family members, etc.?

For myself, my uniqueness has always been my nurturing nature; my ability to listen, empathize, rationalize, and ultimately make connections. Throughout the years, I  have embraced this uniqueness and continue to dedicate my time to be a helper in my community. Nothing gives me greater joy, besides family of course, than being there for another human being as they work towards healing and being their authentic self. For this, I am forever indebted to my family, who have not only identified my strengths at a young age but supported me throughout my career.

***Also, for being a pool of personalities which gifted me my first experiences involving mental health.

As a UF and UNF alumni, I was able to achieve the groundwork to attain my LMHC license within the state of Florida. As an LMHC, I have acquired 6 years of higher education learning as well as over 2,000 hours of post-graduate training. With vast experiences within the mental health field in various settings and working with populations of all ages and backgrounds, I am confident in assisting those in finding what works for them. Through a client-centered approach, I tailor each treatment plan to the individual and/or individuals in hopes to gain the best possible outcomes in treatment. All things are done as a unit and with full transparency, for the therapeutic relationship is most important. As a provider, I look forward to the opportunity to encourage, support, educate, and advocate for my clients. This is who I was, who I am, and who I will forever be. This is my passion.
